I bought into Director Silar’s vision from the get-go and had a wonderful time. Aspects of the production that I did not get on the previous visit, somehow became hilarious. There are so many allusions and gags in this SpongeBob that if you turn away for even a second, you will miss one.

I had seen multiple incarnations of “Little Shop of Horrors” before the Citadel production, and have seen more since. Silar’s vision ranks among the best.

Matthew Silar is the clever and masterful director of Citadel’s hit from last season, “Little Shop of Horrors.” Once again he’s skillfully guided an incredibly gifted cast of talents to share this little love letter of a musical ... this is a perfect production of a perfect show!

[She Loves Me] is expertly directed in a way that really maximizes on the comedic timing of the show as that's where it gets so much of its power.

Adding to his hitmaker reputation, Silar has turned in the best production we’ve seen Citadel produce yet ... the direction is exquisite. Citadel’s “She Loves Me” is award-worthy theatre.

Of course, any show is only as good as its direction. I’m amazed at what Matthew Silar was able to create with such a small space to play with.
